Ammon. Now, Ammon is northern Jordan where the capital is, and it’s got a very interesting future. Let’s start with Isaiah 11:12.
以赛亚书 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign …
Well, that really means a sign. The word ensign is Strong’s 5251. It means something lifted up, a signal, a sign, a token. It’s the sign of the Son of man in the heavens, this is what I think is the most likely ensign I know of.
马太福音 24:30 那时人子的兆头要在天上显现,地上的万族都要悲哀,他们要看见人子有能力,有大荣耀,驾着天上的云降临。
以赛亚书 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, …
The goyim, those without God, the nations.
以赛亚书 11:12 … and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, …
That’s the Second Exodus.
以赛亚书 11:12 … and gather together the dispersed of Judah …
So, that’s the ten tribes, and the two tribes, Judah and Levi.
以赛亚书 11:12 … from the four corners of the earth.
So, the earth apparently has corners or the Bible’s wrong. The word for corner is “kanaph” which is extremities, the edges. Let’s keep moving. It doesn’t necessarily have to mean corners.
Isaiah 11:13 The envy also of Ephraim …
Ephraim means the ten tribes.
Isaiah 11:13 … shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: …
What does cut off mean? “Karath.” It means cut off, eliminate, kill.
Isaiah 11:13 … shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
The two sticks shall be one in his hand, see Ezek.37. They’re not going to fight with each other anymore.
以赛亚书 11:14 But they shall fly …
The word fly is “uph” which is, I believe, the word for chicken. To fly, to fly about, to hover. It means fly.
以赛亚书 11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines …
The word for shoulders is Strong’s 3802, and it’s “katheph.” It means shoulders, sides, slopes. Yah, it’s basically like a shoulder word, okay?
以赛亚书 11:14 但他们必骑在非利士人的肩上,向西飞去; ……
This is the Gaza Strip.
以赛亚书 11:14 … they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand …
So, let’s look at this. Lay is Strong’s 4916. “Mishloach.” Sending forth, outstretching. So, put their hand. The word for hand is “yad” which means hand. Put their hand. In other words, you know, fighting.
以赛亚书 11:14 … upon Edom and Moab; …
Upon Edom and Moab which is the rest of Jordan, central and south Jordan.
以赛亚书 11:14 … and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
Isaiah 11:15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; …
That’s like where the Red Sea goes into the Mediterranean there.
Isaiah 11:15 … and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, …
The Nile River.
Isaiah 11:15 … and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make 男人 go over dryshod.
Well, he’s gonna dry it up. Okay. So, that’s Egypt.
以赛亚书 11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders …
Now, this is where some of you are gonna get weird on me, because I’m gonna be showing you scriptures, and you’ll not like these scriptures, knowing, and you’re gonna be using your frame of reference from your churches. That’s not the way to do it, but there we go.
Isaiah 60.
Remember, fly on.
以赛亚书 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] is risen upon thee.
以赛亚书 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness …
And that, I think, is the word “choshek.” No, it’s “araphel.” It’s a cloud or a very heavy dark cloud. The regular darkness is ” choshek.” Obscure darkness.
以赛亚书 60:2 … the people: …
The word for people is “am.” It means people. People, generally, does not mean Israel. It means the other people.
以赛亚书 60:2 … but the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
以赛亚书 60:3 And the Gentiles [the heathen] shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
So, it appears that they’re glowing.
以赛亚书 60:1 兴起,发光;因为你的光来了,...
Okay, the word for shine is Strong’s 215. “Or.” It means light, become light, or shine. Arising light, it could say, but it says, you know, arise, “or.” The word for “or” means light. And the word for come is “bo.” So, if I want to call my dog here in Hebrew, “bo le po” – come to here. It means come, okay. In Japanese, it’s a fighting staff – “bo,” but in Hebrew, it means come. Okay.
以赛亚书 60:1 … and the glory of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] is risen upon thee.
Alright. Arise shine. So, they’re gonna be glowing like Moses where they had to put a veil over him. We’ll all be that way here.
以赛亚书 60:3 And the Gentiles [goyim, the heathen] shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
The word for brightness again “nogahh” – it means brightness. It’s simple. It could be brilliance or brightness, you know. There it is. So, it’s saying that three times, basically. Like three places, it’s pointing this out.
以赛亚书 60:3 外邦人 [goyim] 必来就你的光,君王必来就你兴起的光辉。
And when it says to thy light, it’s Strong’s 216 “or.” It means light. They have names they name Jewish kids here. They call them “ma or.” “Ma means what so it means what light.
以赛亚书 60:4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they
come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at 你的 边。
以赛亚书 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; …
The word for enlarged is “rachab” to grow, grow large, widen. Okay, it’s a decent translation.
以赛亚书 60:5 … and be enlarged; because the abundance [the riches] of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles [goyim] shall come unto thee.
The word for forces – the strength, the might, or the wealth. It’s the wealth of the sea, and the wealth of the goyim. It’s going to come to thee. They’re going to give this offering.
以赛亚书 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
以赛亚书 60:7 基达的羊群都要聚集到你那里,尼拜约的公羊要侍奉你。它们必在我的祭坛上蒙悦纳,我要荣耀我荣耀的殿。
That’s the next temple, not New Jerusalem.
以赛亚书 60:8 WHO 是 这些 那 fly as a cloud, …
The word for these is Strong’s 428. “Elleh.” It means these. That’s what it means. The word who is “me. “Me zeh” is who’s this. Somebody knocks on your door. You go, “Me zeh?” Who’s this or who’s there, as you would say in English. Who. “Me.” “Elleh.” Who are these? That fly as a cloud. And the word for cloud is “ab.” Cloud.
以赛亚书 60:8 … and as the doves to their windows?
The word for doves is “yonah.” Some might argue it means pigeon, but for our purposes here, it doesn’t matter. It probably is a dove. These that fly as doves to their windows. So, they have homes, and they’re flying into their windows. Who are they? Well, they fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines. When will this happen? The Year of Redemption.
以赛亚书 60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God [Yehovah/YHVH Elohim], and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
Glorified is to beautify or adorn.
Got it? Okay, now this stuff is foreign to people that are used to listening to the churches, but it’s in your Bible. Stop listening to the churches. Purge the teachings out of your head and go to your Bible. The Bible’s your friend, not them. Go ye forth into all the world and take money from those that are called but not chosen, and buy big stupid buildings wherein to give yourself credibility is not the gospel. God confirms his word with signs following. He does not confirm the words of the church. There’s no signs following. Okay?
马可福音 16:20 他们出去,到处传道,主与 他们, 并用后面的符号确认这个词。阿门。
So, Ammon makes it. Edom, we read about in Numbers 24:19.
I don’t know. See, there’s something that is a little troubling to me in the prophecy discussions of these places. I’ll get into that with you. It’s in Jeremiah 48. I’ll show you the problems that I have or I need to dig into to speak of.
It talks about Moab and Edom over here, and it talks about them perishing, and it says this.
Jeremiah 48:47 Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]. Thus far 是 the judgment of Moab.
Actually, it just came to light. They’re back in the latter days, but it doesn’t mean they’re gonna get destroyed or not in the latter days. That’s the question, because they did have some destruction. So, I need to do a little more work on this. Edom is similar. Ammon seems pretty cut and dry. They submit to the Israelites and make it. Their land may get punished a little bit. See, it’s Greater Israel, and I don’t understand a lot of things about this yet, because, if the land’s going to lay vacant, how could the land, Greater Israel, be under punishment to make it? I don’t understand that. So, there’s a lot of stuff from the past and future. So, pray about that, that the LORD gives me insights into this so I get a better picture of this.
Let me go through some other scriptures. Maybe I could enlightenment you.
Okay, so, the next one I had is Isaiah 34.
Isaiah 34:1 Come near, ye nations [goyim], to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
Isaiah 34:2 For the indignation of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] …
Indignation is Strong’s 7110. It means anger or wrath
Isaiah 34:2 … 是 upon all nations, …
This is Jeremiah 30:11. Like it or lump it, that’s what this is.
Isaiah 34:2 … 和 他的 fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
Isaiah 34:3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
Isaiah 34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, …
This is in the Great Day of the LORD. The end of it is. And then there’s the new heaven and the new earth. They teach you it’s the Millennium. It’s not. Read, you know, Ezekiel 38 and 39 carefully.
Isaiah 34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
Isaiah 34:5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, …
That’s Edom. Idumea is just another word meaning Edom.
Isaiah 34:5 … and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, 和 with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
Bozrah is the name of a town in Edom. So, it’s Edom.
Isaiah 34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
以赛亚书 34:8 为了 这是 the day of the LORD’S [Yehovah’s/YHVH’s] vengeance, 和 the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
You got this? You should put this like up on your wall, okay?
以赛亚书 34:8 为了 这是 the day of the LORD’S [Yehovah’s/YHVH’s] vengeance, 和 the year of recompences …
The day of vengeance is inside the year of recompenses which is the same year as the year of redemption, because the day of vengeance is in there, too.
以赛亚书 34:8 ……锡安的争议。
They’re fighting with Yehovah over Zion. Zion is Strong’s 6726. “Tsiyon.” It’s not a “Z” sound. It’s “tsa” “Tsayon.” It means parched place. It’s parched several months of the year.
Isaiah 34:9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into
brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
Isaiah 34:10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
So, Edom goes. It says forever and ever. That means forever and ever. The words are Strong’s 5331. It’s “netsach.” It’s for perpetuity. So, there you have it. And I guess that it will be that way when that land returns to Israel. It won’t be occupied by anybody including us.
Isaiah 34:11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
So, the animals will be there. They can have it, right?
Isaiah 34:12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none 应该 there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
The word for nothing is “Ephess” which means zero, nothing. It would be better stated not there.
Isaiah 34:12 … and all her princes shall be nothing not there.
The word “ephess”also means zero. Nothing. They don’t know how to express the word but they’re doing a sort of okay job.
Isaiah 34:13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, …
Because nobody’s in there taking care of them or living there.
Isaiah 34:13 … nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, …
That’s probably, you know, lizards and stuff like that.
Isaiah 34:13 … 和 a court for owls.
So, they’ll be in there making their owl sounds, looking for little critters to eat.
Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
These are all the critters, all the beasts.
Isaiah 34:15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], …
The word for book is “sepher.” It means book.
Isaiah 34:16 … and read: no one of these shall fail, …
All the prophecies always come true.
Isaiah 34:16 … none shall want her mate: …
So, they will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines. They’ll fly through their windows, okay?
Isaiah 34:16 … none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 34:17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: …
This is the casting of lots to divide Greater Israel up when they conquer it. It’s found in Ezekiel 47, the last three verses.
Isaiah 34:17 … hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
That’s speaking of us, I believe, living there. Okay.
Let’s go do Ezekiel 25.
Ezekiel 25:12 Thus saith the Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovah/YVHH]; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
Ezekiel 25:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovah/YHVH]; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; …
Teman is Yemen,
Ezekiel 25:13 … and they of Dedan …
Dedan is the low country which is Saudi Arabia.
Ezekiel 25:13 … shall fall by the sword.
Now, the land of Saudi Arabia is called Arabia in the Bible. Their family name is Saud, the Saud family, so they call it Saudi Arabia to show their country belonging to their family. It’s like their country belonging to their family. It’s like their family business, okay?
Ezekiel 25:14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: …
There it is.
Ezekiel 25:14 … and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovah/YHVH].
Now, we’ll read about the Philistines in Ezekiel 25.
Ezekiel 25:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovah/YHVH]; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy 它 for the old hatred;
That’s what’s going on now in Gaza.
Ezekiel 25:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovah/YHVH]; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
Ezekiel 25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I 是 the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
Let’s go to Joel 3. Joel is actually pronounced “Yoel” because there’s no “J” in the Hebrew alphabet.
约珥书 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence 反对 the children of Judah [Yehudah], because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
约珥书 3:20 But Judah [Yehudah] shall dwell for ever, …
Amen!!
约珥书 3:20 … and Jerusalem [Yerushalayim] from generation to generation.
约珥书 3:21 因为我会净化他们的血液 那 我还没有清洗:……
So, the remnant, the believers, the Messianic Jews, as they’re called, have cleansed blood, you would say, but the others will get it soon.
约珥书 3:21 … for the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] dwelleth in Zion.
Now, Yehovah’s the glory of God of Israel. That’s the angel that was with the children of Israel in the wilderness with Moses and Aaron. And Yehovah put his name in this angel, which I believe is Michael, so he can be called Yehovah and receive offerings. And that’s the one that’s going to be dwelling in Zion with us. Yehovah stays in heaven.
Now, we will do Amos 1.
Amos 1:11 Thus saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
This is Edom.
Amos 1:12 But I will send a fire upon Teman, …
I believe this is the word for Yemen.
Amos 1:12 … which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
Bozrah’s a place in Edom.
Amos 1:13 Thus saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
Amos 1:14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, …
Now, Rabbah is a place of the Ammonites in the old time.
Amos 1:14 … and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
Amos 1:15 And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
So, they don’t have it great.
We could go to Jeremiah 49.
Jeremiah 49:7 Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts [Yehovah/YHVH of armies];
Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
Jeremiah 49:8 Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan [Saudi Arabia area]; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time 那 I will visit him.
Jeremiah 49:9 If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.
Jeremiah 49:10 But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he 是 not.
Jeremiah 49:11 Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve 他们 alive; and let thy widows trust in me.
Jeremiah 49:12 For thus saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; Behold, they whose judgment 曾是 not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; …
The cup of the wrath of the LORD.
Jeremiah 49:12 … and 艺术 thou he 那 shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.
The cup of the wrath of the LORD. And I believe this is the Zechariah 12 scenario.
Jeremiah 49:13 For I have sworn by myself, …
Because they have the cup of trembling, the cup of the wrath of the LORD. Zechariah 12.
Jeremiah 49:13 For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
Jeremiah 49:14 I have heard a rumour from the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, 说, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
Jeremiah 49:15 For, lo, I will make thee small …
That’s insignificant.
Jeremiah 49:15 … among the heathen [goyim], 和 despised among men.
Jeremiah 49:16 Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, 和 the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD
[Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 49:17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: …
This is what it’s gonna be. I was probably confused by some previous prophecy that was from a long time ago in Jeremiah 48 specifically. That’s what I think.
Jeremiah 49:17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
So, this is going to happen, okay? And it’s not going to make a comeback.
Jeremiah 49:18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah …
See, they don’t make a comeback either.
Jeremiah 49:18 … and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
Nobody’s going to be there.
Jeremiah 49:19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who 是 a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who 是 like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who 是 that shepherd that will stand before me?
Well, it’s certainly sounding like Yeshua when he says shepherd, right?
Jeremiah 49:20 Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: …
They call Yemen Teman in Hebrew.
Jeremiah 49:20 … Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
Jeremiah 49:21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, …
That’s pretty heavy duty.
Jeremiah 49:21 … at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
Jeremiah 49:22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
Now, they’re not giving birth to anything. They’re just suffering. Fear is poisonous pain.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. …
Which is in Syria.
Jeremiah 49:23 … Hamath is confounded, …
Hamath’s a city in upper Syria or Northern Syria.
Jeremiah 49:23 … and Arpad: …
Arpad is in Southern Syria. It’s basically talking about the whole of Syria.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; 有 sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
The Dead Sea probably. It could be the Sea of Galilee. I think it means the Sea of Galilee where I am.
Jeremiah 49:24 Damascus is waxed feeble, 和 turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
Jeremiah 49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
David ruled out of Damascus once.
Jeremiah 49:26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts [Yehovah/YHVH of armies].
Jeremiah 49:27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
It was a king of Syria or Assyria.
Jeremiah 49:28 Concerning Kedar, …
Kedar is like a son of Ishmael.
Jeremiah 49:28 … and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, …
Hazor is in the south of Judah.
Jeremiah 49:28 … which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.
Jeremiah 49:29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves
their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear 是 on every side.
Jeremiah 49:30 Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
This would be in the past, I believe.
Jeremiah 49:31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH], which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
Jeremiah 49:32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them 那是 in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 49:33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, 和 a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor 任何 son of man dwell in it.
Jeremiah 49:34 The word of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] that came to Jeremiah [Yirmeyah] the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah [Yehudah], saying,
So, Elam is “Eylam.”
Jeremiah 49:35 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
Jeremiah 49:36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
So, Elam is a Korvite Levite in the time of David. So, they’re going to be scattered to all the nations which really happened. So, this is kind of passed.
Jeremiah 49:37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: …
This is from the past.
Jeremiah 49:37 … and I will bring evil upon them, 甚至 my fierce anger, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
Jeremiah 49:38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 49:39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, 那 I will bring again the captivity
of Elam, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Well, that means they’re going to come back, and some of them are already here.
So, the one that was giving me issues was Jeremiah 48.
Jeremiah 48:1 Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts [Yehovah/YHVH of armies], the God of Israel [Elohim of Yisrael]; Woe unto Nebo! …
Jeremiah 48:3 A voice of crying 应该 from Horonaim, …
Jeremiah 48:4 Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.
Jeremiah 48:8 And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] hath spoken.
Jeremiah 48:9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.
Jeremiah 48:10 Cursed 是 he that doeth the work of the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH] deceitfully, and cursed 是 he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
In verse 25, it says …
Jeremiah 48:25 The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 48:26 Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
That means kind of crazy.
Jeremiah 48:27 For was not Israel a derision unto thee? was he found among thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.
Happy over the problems Israel had with the LORD.
Jeremiah 48:28 O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove 那 maketh her nest in the sides of the hole’s mouth.
Jeremiah 48:29 We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.
We’ll skip down to verse 40.
Jeremiah 48:40 For thus saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.
Jeremiah 48:41 Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men’s hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
Jeremiah 48:42 And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 48:43 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, 应该 upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
Jeremiah 48:44 He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, 甚至 upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH].
That’s their visitation. That doesn’t necessarily have to do with your redemption in the year of recompenses.
Jeremiah 48:45 They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
Jeremiah 48:46 Woe be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives.
Jeremiah 48:47 Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD [Yehovah/YHVH]. Thus far 是 the judgment of Moab.
And then, we go into the next chapter 49, and you see that they get destroyed forever. So, it’s like a punishment on a punishment. And, you know, it’s like Jordan, and Yemen’s in there, too, and Saudi Arabia. All this is mixed up in there. So, that was confusing me. I’m not confused anymore. I guess I prayed, and we all prayed. So, basically, they have a pretty dismal future.
